Minecraft Locator Maps don't show pointers when player is out of map area

Since the roll out of Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.20, Realms connectivity has obviously been incredibly bad, but also my locator maps in my Realm have not been working properly when I'm out of range of what the map covers. Usually the player pointer icon has been visible on the closest edge that corresponds to the player location even when the player is not visible in the map boundary, but since Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.20 it has not showed this at all. I only have one server and I am really far away from the -128 -128 to 2048 2048 area (what the map covers) in my world. (My coords are 24100, 0 right now) Because I only have the one server and it's a survival world with advancements, I am unable to check whether it works when I am in range as well. I hope Minecraft fixes this issue soon.
