Mine carts refuse to move!!

Mine carts have stopped moving. You can redo the mine cart tracks and still they stop or dont move at all. This all started with the you guys had an issue with the realms stuff!!

  2. I purchased a Bedrock Realm from you guys/play on that only.

  3. There are NO add-ons

  4. The Realm is only in survial mode on (peaceful/normal game play) 

  5. load into the realm I pay for and start to play and ( ANY ) minecart I had set up runing or moving on POWERED Rails/ Normal Rails will not move at all. You can break and remake the whole rail system and put a brand new minecart on the powered rail and it will not move....... even with a push. This has been happening ever sence there was the problem with REALMS...

  6. I have had the same realm for more the 1.5 years now little to no issues.

  7. please go to my Realm and you will see minecarts are totaly broken and not useable at all.

I'm seeing the exact same behavior on 41 different minecarts in my build. The minecart stopped at a specific point in a power rail, acting as if the rail is unpowered - even if it's a power rail that is sitting on top of a Redstone block and lit red. Removing and pushing a new minecart will cause the rail to stop again at the exact same point. Breaking the rail and replacing the rail, then replacing the minecart, also has the exact same stuck locations The location of breakage changed between the update right after the realm breaking and the update on September 3rd. I have also seen this issue in the nether, but the following description is for the overworld on 1.21.23, Xbox Series X, and I've seen this in the realm and on local copies. My seed is -77107740, and the chunks covered In this update are from around the time end cities were added to the game. This is pure vanilla Minecraft survival with no packs or add-ons.

 

Chunks seem to matter, I have my build chunk aligned with zero minecarts crossing chunks. My tower goes from bedrock to 320, with many machines in the same chunk slice - Y doesn't seem to matter for this issue.

The chunk covered by x -23962 z -12203 is affected the most, I'd guess about 80% of carts are affected.  -23962, -12203 is affected the least, with all minecarts still functional.  The chunk covered by -23962, -12215 is about half affected.

 

Edit: I just tried loading a pre-realm-break  backup locally and the carts still worked. It's possible the source of the issue is realm specific. I'll update this note if I notice anything else.

 

Edit 2: I copied down my realm and I was able to get the minecarts moving locally. The immobile carts bug seems to currently be realms only.  My gamertag is f, feel free to pull down my realm.

I only play on the one realm i pay for so I cant speak to this happening anywhere else. I have had these carts set up and runing now fow heck almost a full year if not more on some of them. I have rebuilt most of them in the past days, some move and work until i log off and restart. then there not moving. I would be more then happy to show it to you as well. I have three people on this realm (me included) that are all having same problem. My gamer tag is my name. The seed I play on is -559342499 . Thank you Karen Stevens for trying to help me out. This has been buging me for a few days now.

Great still DOSNT FIX THE DARN PROBLEM!!!!!!!! I guess I seriously need to rethink paying for a PRODUCT that I cant fully use. sweep it under the rug there MOD...

The Resolution of Duplicate simply means that the bug was already reported by someone else.
That does not mean that it was "swept under the rug". You may want review the Bug Tracker Guidelines to better understand how bug reports are handled.
