"An error occurred, please try again later" when trying to join Realm

When joining a Realm, it takes around 2-5 minutes to connect and then it gives the error message shown below. I've tried closing and opening the realm, switching to different worlds and minigames (which both worked), loading a backup save of my world, downloading my world, and cancelling and restarting my free trial which all did not help me join my original world. Same thing happens to everyone else on the realm. Any fixes? Is happening in 1.21.3 and 1.21.4.
