When I upload my world, it takes the usual time (it's a 664.9 MB directory) then says 100%.
Then when I join the world for the first time after its upload, it is instead a brand new generated world.
But then if I exit that new world, and go to world back-ups, and revert the Realm to the previous "back-up" THEN join my world, it is the world I had successfully uploaded.
It's been doing this for about a week (today being 29 Sept).

As of 14 October I notice that this issue is fixed.
I uploaded a backup of my world to Realms today, and was able to launch directly into it. It did not launch into a new world, and then require me to revert to the "backup" I had just uploaded.
Thank you for fixing this 🙂

I had that problem too, when I wanted to reupload my world to realms, it just shows up as a new generated world as well
