Description:
I am attempting to upload a local world to a Realm to transfer it between devices. The world is currently stored in "Application" storage on an Android 15 device. While creating a new world and uploading it works perfectly, uploading the specific existing world (32.5MB) fails at the very end of the process. My Internet connection is perfectly fine and the upload process only lasted for about 2 seconds to complete.
Steps to reproduce:
Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition on an Android 15 device.
Select an existing world and edit (approx. size 32MB).
Select “Play on Realm”.
Select the sole player option
Wait for the upload progress bar to reach 100% (Initializing upload -> Exporting World → Uploading world -> Verifying).
Observed Results:
Once the upload process appears to finish, a dialogue box appears stating simply "An error occurred" with no error code or specific details. The world on the Realm remains empty or reverts to the previous state.
Expected Results:
The world should successfully upload and become playable on the Realm, or a specific error code should be provided to assist with troubleshooting.
