Realms not connecting

My realms are not connecting in either bedrock or java. I have checked for updates, logged out and in again, and restarted my computer with no change. My realms on java do show up on the list on the installer but the bedrock realms list is not even loading. When i try to join the java realms it shows me a “failed to quick play- could not connect to realm” screen.
