Cannot write in Books while placed in Lectern

When attempting to write in a book that has been placed in a lectern; the cursor disappears and you cannot type anything. If you write in a book when used from your inventory and then place that book in a lectern; it will be readable, however, the book is still unable to be edited in while in the lectern.
