Realms world slowly falling apart until it has become unplayable

This weird glitch is pissing me off. A week ago my brother died and lost his elytra so he loaded a backup save so he can get it back. Then, we realized that it has been nighttime for hours. We try sleeping but it just doesn’t work. We eventually realized that everything in the world settings were turned off. Even the ones in the cheats section that are on by default. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to activate cheats to get everything back on. Then, fall damage stopped working, drowning stopped working and even fire damage stopped working. Now, when I log into the realm today, all overlays on the screen have vanished. My hand, health bar, hunger bar, inventory, crosshair, ect. Please help me. P.S: I have made sure that it’s not from lag because my chicken farm was emptied out.
