Replacing Realm Slots

I’ve tried to replace one out of my 3 realm slots. Whenever I tried to replace a slot with a world I made on regular mode, because it asks us to choose from our worlds created, it loads quick as if it would replace the old slot, and it doesn’t. I’ve tried on my iPad Pro and Xbox, same result. This started happening after the new update with the cushions being added to the game. Since then it hasn’t been fixed and no bug fixes have been launched for it and I’ve been waiting for there to be an update.
