Hello Minecraft Support,
I have been trying to download my world from Minecraft Realms, but I keep receiving an “An error occurred” message every time I attempt to download it.
I have been experiencing this issue for three months, and I am still unable to download the world or restore it from my Realm backups. The world is approximately 1.6 GB in size.
I want to download a copy of my world because my Realm sometimes encounters errors, particularly when the subscription is about to expire or has already expired, and I renew the subscription. There have been instances where I successfully renewed the Realm, but I was still unable to play because the Realm would encounter an error.
I would like to have a local copy of my world as a backup in case these issues happen again, especially since the world contains a lot of progress and builds that I do not want to risk losing.
I have already tried the recommended troubleshooting steps, including:
Signing out and back into my Microsoft account
Signing out and back into Xbox
Updating Minecraft
Trying to renew the subscription again
Trying to download the Realm/world
Trying to restore the world from the available Realm backups
Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and help me either download the current world or restore/download one of its backups. I have been dealing with this problem for two months, and I would really like to secure a copy of my world before another Realm subscription or server-related issue occurs.
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Jhon Rey Gravador
