Hi, there is a bug with the pistons in Windows 10 edition beta, which causes them to automatically dislodge themselves and then self destruct if next to a lava source.
Normally items can only be destroyed by lava if A they are flammable, B) explosion (Creeper or TNT), or C) if they have been mined and left next to fire or lava by players. This never used to happen on Java edition, I'm sure of it because me and my friend built a cobblestone factory on a world on Java (old Minecraft) with similar specification.
This issue is extremely annoying because I have now lost 2 pistons as a result of this and I'm sure this problem will affect other people at some point when they attempt to use pistons to mine infinite cobblestone from lava and water.
I really want my 2 pieces of iron and redstone back. But since I cannot prove I lost them unless other people discover the issue and report it themselves I'm going to refrain from using pistons in such a manner.
