The crashing happens randomly throughout gameplay and when it does it can send you back to the dashboard (xb1) or sends you back to desktop (pc) , on xb1 when this happened this turnt off my system and i was not able to turn it back on for hours

It was a normal world that was 1 week old when the realm was created in which i uploaded the world onto the realm
Is your Map old ? I created a new Realm (free trial) with a new world and nothing bad happened. And once I uploaded my main world (8 month old), the Realm just crashed every 2 minutes... As if worlds prior to the last update were not totally "compatible"...
However I didn't apply some weird add-ons or mods except an official texture pack (Chroma hills HD)...
