Since update 1.15, can no longer use pools of water to sprint-swim into end portals (where you create a shallow trough of water adjacent to the ELEVATED end portals). Three different people tried at 3 different elevated end portals. Ender pearls still work to enter and exit. These were existing end portal troughs and this method no longer works. By the way, one of the players was playing on X-Box, and 2 were on IOS.

However, this issue has been closed as Working as Intended.
To initiate swimming there now needs to be water of more than one block deep. Remember not all differences between game versions/platforms of Minecraft are bugs. If you need help or have a suggestion you might like to follow a link below.
