PS4 Player Can't Join Realm: "Unable to join specific server"

I have recently created a realm and am on my free trial after the new crossplay update. I replaced the realm world with a survival world I already had and invited my friend on PS4 from my PC running Windows 10 edition. Immediately, my friend is met with the error: "Unable to join specific server." I tried removing him and inviting him numerous times and also tried inviting from my Xbox One to no avail. I also invited someone on Windows 10 edition and they could join no problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Same. I never would have bought the PS4 version for my boyfriend after the update for cross play if I had known prior that realms weren’t available.

Right? That is a very important detail that took me a while to find.

this issue is probably getting fixed in a couple  months

Realms is not available on PS4 at this time.

Still not even a guess at how much longer? It’s April and I’m about to give up on my realm subscription I’m keeping alive on my outdated iPhone

I'm trying to play Realms with my boy Aaron and I can't because he is on PS4 and I am on Xbox.  When is this going to be fixed?!

?!

Is this issue fixed yet? Still receiving error unable to join specific server when trying to connect to my friends realm on Xbox. It’s going on a year and still no update for PS4 users to play cross platform realms!
