I broke chests to move items to new chests, all my valuable items despawned within a couple of minutes including diamonds, stacks of gold, bread, meat, iron, coal, etc.

Are you sure it was less than 5 minutes before the items despawned? Did you do anything other than break a chest and immediately pick up the items? About how many full single chests of items did you break at once? How far was it from the original location to the new location? Did you notice anything unusual between when you broke the chest and when you picked up the items, such as game lag, etc? What device are you using (that's what the "Environment" field is usually for)? About how many other players were on the Realm at the same time?

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
