Whenever I try to replace my realm with a different save file, as a world, it won't let me replace it. So at first I thought it was just a pocket edition thing, but then the same thing would happen to windows 10 Minecraft and Xbox one bedrock edition.

We're tracking this issue as REALMS-474, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.

If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.
