In the realm with my friends, only the first message I send can be read. Everything else is in hash tags. Nothing I've tried to send it inappropriate or somethung to be censors. I'm playing on the windows 10 version. My realm is only adults anyway so nothing needs to be censored.

Same Issue. No profanity. We are using both Windows 10 and Xbox One on our realm. It randomly works. We get ######### for a lot of our messages. very annoying if not using voice chat.
I know.... I really can't believe I am paying for a realm... If this is the work ethics of Mojang... Not even so much as a, "We are looming into this problem... I play MCPE... And most of the people that have the same issue on MCPE, seem to get it fixed fairly quick.... Maybe nobody is working on Realms...
We've had this problem before. It took about 5 days before our users got fixed.And maybe now more people are enjoying some time off. 🙂
We found out it happens when you use foul language, or words that look a tiny bit like foul language. The first time the word is shown as ## hashes, but the other words are oke.
The second time the user is marked, after that you have the hashing problem. This is user-related. So some may have it and some don't.
So I hope this helps to prevent the problem the next time....
Never used "bad" words.... But even so, those would just be words.... And if there was one of these so called "bad words" was said, it should tell you, that you are going to be muted...

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. Exact same issue. However, I was using profanity but it is a realm that I pay for and share with adults and at the very least there should be some indicator as to why I am censored or that I am censored at all.
I need to be able to communicate to players through the game, if I'm unable to do that then I need to find a new server hosting solution.
