When trying to connect to a realm (or multiplayer servers such as Hypixel for that matter) it gets stuck on "Connecting to realm..." and when connecting to multiplayer it says that the authentication servers are down. I have tried these both on vanilla Minecraft Launcher (no mods) and Badlion Client on 1.16.4 (the same edition the realm and my friends are playing). I am on Windows 10 Pro Version 1709 on OS build 16299.1087 - could this be the problem?

This report is a duplicate of MC-207896, since you mentioned this issue occurred when connecting to multiplayer server as well.
