Have not been able to connect to my Realm on XBox since Nov 2020

I have not been able to connect to my Realm and neither has my friends since Nov 2020.

I’m  playing on Xbox One, they are playing on iPad I have been able to connect “occasionally” via iPhone (after creating a new map) but I don’t play Minecraft on my iPhone and even then it only connects every fifth time or so.

 

 The situation is getting desperate and I’m paying for a service that does not work. I have already looked at all your suggestions on forums and worked with the support team to no avail.

I spoke to the support team via the website (ticket number 1455850) and the error reads: “Unable to connect to the world. Please check your connection to the internet and try again.”
