Controls Randomly refuse to work on Nintendo Switch version when on Realms

Controls Randomly stop working, I can move, look around, jump, but not attack mobs, build, or break blocks. I also can not access any in game containers, the chat, and the start menu. 

this can not be lag on my end since other players and mobs move perfectly well, they even told me that I am not lagging on their end.
