When traveling from the overworld to the nether in a portal. You appear at the same cords in the nether as the overworld portal, instead of the linked nether portal. There is no portal where you appear in the nether.
So if your portal is at 4000 by -1000 in the overworld, you appear at 4000 by -1000 in the nether instead of 500 by -125.
This has now happened to 4 people since the update on our realm.

Can confirm in both directions. I personally went from 2000 7 in the overworld and ended up at the same cords but in the nether. We also had another realm member try to go from the nether side (250, 0) and end up in the middle of the ocean. In both cases no new nether portal was created. I was not eating or doing anything unusual.
