I submitted a ticket and got a reply that this was a known bug but I should submit the ticket in here to help the moderators and developers collect more information.
When I try to connect to my realm, all I get is "Unable to connect". Power down Xbox and clearing the cache doesn't help. Tried for a PC and still get the same results.
It's closing in on being down a day now. I pay to have this, so what compensation will I get back for not having access to what I'm paying for?

However, this issue is Invalid.
We are currently receiving a high volume of reports about not being able to access Bedrock Realms. This is apparently a Realms server issue and is not something the bug tracker can help you with. Report connection issues to @MojangSupport on Twitter.
We're told by Mojang that they are investigating the problem. In the mean time, watch @MojangStatus on Twitter for updates.
I'm sorry somebody told you to make a new ticket for this. The bug tracker can only help you prepare bug reports. We aren't Mojang staff here and we can't do anything about their server outages. As for it being down for over a day now, it strangely appears that hundreds of people reported it on downdetector.com but absolutely nobody reported it to Mojang Support! That should have been the first place anybody reported it.

Same here — there’s no reason that it should be longer than 24 hrs of it being down when we are actively paying for the servers.
