I shut off my device I was playing minecraft on while I was playing in a realm while I was writing in a book and quill, i believe there is a bug that you will be stuck on the "Building Terrain" screen forever if you left the game last with a book and quill UI opened, I'm quite mad that I cannot login a realm I'm paying for

What device are you using?
Have you tried "closing" and reopening the realm? That will force the server to disconnect all players and can sometimes fix logon issues.
You might also try restoring from the most recent backup prior to your forced disconnection. In general, you should always "save and quit" to ensure that no information is lost. Shutting off your device can lead to unpredictable results and should always be avoided if possib.e
