I've been playing the Caves and Cliffs update and have been loving the content! Thanks so much for what you guys are doing for the community.
Since playing, my friends and I have noticed that there are drastically fewer diamonds/emeralds than before. We did start a new realm, so we didn't have to worry about loading in new blocks. We have encountered deepslate, iron deepslate, copper deepslate, lapus deepslate and redstone deepslate. We have found 3 emerald blocks, and 11 diamond blocks in about 22 hours of combined playtime. We have found 0 deepslate emeralds, and 0 deepslate diamond blocks.
I'm beginning to think that these blocks were not properly introduced into the update, and since many of the blocks 0-15 have been replaced by deepslate, we are seeing much fewer actual diamond/emerald blocks.
Can you confirm if this has occured, or has the actual spawn of rarer stones been reduced greatly?
