It was recently announced that bedrock will get 3 save slots for realms with a new ui in this article: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/realms-plus–july0 , I haven't got this new ui or 3 slots on my xbox series x but I have got it the option on mobile and pc.
I assumed that it was slowly rolling out so I thought I would wait a bit but still nothing has changed.

Yea it’s on the latest version and I personally do manual updates, luckily I have a mobile device I can manage my realms slots but it’s just a little inconvenient.
You say you downloaded "the latest release," but I asked you if it was on 1.17.10. It seems unlikely that 1.17.10 on a Series X would work differently from 1.17.10 on Xbox One, and your answer seems slightly evasive. Are you sure you checked the main menu page release number?
It turns out that, despite how unlikely it is, this has been identified as an issue on Xbox Series X only (not on Xbox One nor any non-Xbox platforms). The report has been passed along to the developers for a fix.
Sorry about that - we are actively working on this. Some accounts aren't correctly getting Realms Slots enabled yet. On my Xbox Series X only one of my five accounts has access to Realms Slots currently.
Has your Xbox updated to 1.17.10? (See the version number on the main menu.) The new UI was only introduced in 1.17.10, so if your update failed for some reason that would explain this problem. Unfortunately, I don't know how Xbox updates; is it automatic, or do you have to do a manual update?
