When a realm auto renews the player still gets the message telling them that it has expired.
To reproduce:
Have a Realm with auto renewal on
Wait for the Realm to auto renew (1 Month)
Load Minecraft
Expected outcome:
No message appears.
Or a message is displayed saying that the realm has been automatically renewed
Actual outcome:
Realm expired message is displayed on all devices (even if it has already been viewed on another device).
