Unable to connect to realm

My wife tried connecting to our realm today but clicking on it did nothing.
I tried from my account on the switch, but it says the realm is Expired.

Realm was purchased through my Playstation account.  The last payment was made August 31st for the amount of $8.80 (realm + tax).

This is not the first time this has happened.  The first time this happened, I thought something went wrong with the payment, so I paid again, so I ended up charged twice that month.  Other times I've had to open a ticket to get it resolved.

I would prefer to not have to keep opening a ticket every handful of months for a subscription service that is currently being paid for.  

Expectation 1)  The realm is reactivated, as it's still being paid for.
Expectation 2)  The cause for the repeated expiration is identified so that we can avoid further tickets.
