[REALMS-900] Minecraft wont load realm, stuck at Loading resource packs screen

I try to log into my Realm on windows 10 and it gets to the Loading resource packs screen during the boot up and never proceeds any further. I have left it up for over 30 minutes and it will not get past this screen. I do not have any resource packs to load. I can successfully log into my realm on MCPE and Xbox. I have already uninstalled minecraft on my windows machine and reinstalled it, the problem did not go away.

I had the same issue. Then I remembered I had the issue before. To fix it, I had to go into my advanced internet options and enable 'Use TLS 1.2'. Sorted it out immediately.

PS. I also enabled 'Use TLS 1.1', so I'm not sure which one fixed the problem, but I think it was 1.2

Same problem. Just started a few days ago. I can't login to Realms on my phone but still can on everything else. On my phone I just get stuck on the loading resource packs screen. My phone is a brand new Pixel 3 so the TLS issue shouldn't be it for me. What is going on with this? Any other leads on a fix?

Im now experiancing this issue with my realm an I also believe it has to do with resource packs that are loaded to the realm but im not sure because i was playing like that for days an had no issue till now when I tried to update the realms resource texture an it wont let me do that or even access The realm an the pack is fine..I play on Mcpe with a LG Stylus 3 plus and I use a Mocute 54 bluetooth game pad to play.

Update to my previous report on this issue I learned that it is indeed because of resource packs that are loaded to the realm as I went back an fiddled around with my realm saves an found that if you Download your Realm directly (Not with a cloud save) After download is finsihed open the options up in it an remove the resource pack if it shows an Rename the realm copy( just remove the word copy) after this go to the realms settings an replace realm with this new updated copy the problem is fixed but how ever if you want to use the resource texture pack for the realm do the same steps but add the resource pack instead of removing it like beforw after that then make sure you DO NOT check the back that requires the resource pack to join realm or you will have same issue leave it uncheck, Now this is where it gets interesting if you choose to proceed with thw download resource you have to have the same resource pack the realm uses in order for the realnlm load with no isssue now if you join with out downloading resource pack at the prompt screen asking then you will have no issue joining the realm ..Hopefully this update to the issue helps with getting it fixed If not sorry taking up space with this report update...Cheers!

Thanks for the update Jacob. But even after renaming my map, and reuploading to the realm, it still insists on using the resource packs uploaded prior.
Very frustrating. This has been an issue since 1.10.

Same but with bedrock I got 5 realms I'm in plus the official one and they all have this it I've had the owners contact mojang they get the realm back up and within 1-3 hours it's back to being stuck at loading resources and as a added thing it seems that some players are able to join but upon them leaving the realm or it crashing or rebooting it locks them out perhaps this is the realm not correctly processing the clients textures?

i am some one's realm and it crashed on me last night about 9/10 BST time i was cutting down the mountain need my base about 9/10 i finished for the night left the mountain headed over to farm guardians to fix my tools on my way over to the ocean monument it wasn't loading the world when i got there after floating in water for it to load the world i went to push the button to start the farm up and that was it world was off how can we get this issue fixed please

now when trying to load world we only get to loading resource packs i dont use them

I'm playing on Java and I cant switch worlds, join realms, or close my realm and neither can my friend. I have tried restarting my computer and uninstalling minecraft.

We're actually already tracking this issue at MCPE-49778, so we will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate.

We would very much like to get hold of any world saves that are experiencing this issue still, so if you are able, please add it to MCPE-49778:

On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.
On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds
On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS.

If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.

I am still having this issue. I spawned the ender dragon with end crystals on my friends realm and then during the fight the dragon froze. I was fine, but couldn't eat food, so I decided to relog. When trying to return I can't get past the loading resources screen as shown already. In any light, I believe this bug should be reopened.
