[REALMS-945] Realm Keeps Reverting

It seems as if our Realm does not save anymore.
Whenever we exit the game and load back in, we are put back to the exact same spot.

This has been ongoing for a day now and we cannot make any progress.
We have also experimented with it and it seems, as if the day cycle doesn't reset when we load back in again, but our player positions and blocks do.

If 2 players are in the game, and 1 dies and exits to the menu, while the other player remains in the game, when the second player joins again, they will have all their items and be reverted back to where they were. We also have the sneaking suspicion that mobs do not reset their position aswell.

This is an URGENT bug, PLEASE fix.

I confirm this bug. At first it was just my friend who had the problem. 3 days ago. He had not updated to the last update so I told him to update. Then the day after I tried and I had the same. Both on PC and PE (we both have PC and PE) so on 4 media. That means the issue cannot be related to user software.
I tried uninstalling PE and reinstalling and my friend he updated. All of it without resolve, which again confirms it can't be related to user software.
I have read some blogs going back to 2012 and 2015 and this prob seems to reoccur so now and then. Please find the ground cause of this so it doesn't happen again in e.g. 2021. All realm users are PAYING customers, so get this solved asap because we're not getting what we paid for.

My realm is called " Het land van Lohengrin" and the owner is GarinLohengrin.

Hi Mojang,
Just a thought;
Are you using redundant array of independent disks ? (virtual servers ?)
If yes, check if there´s an error in accessing "write mode". If it can´t access then ofc. us pushing the save button will have no effect. It will just load the last save after we login again.
This can be due to faulty hardware (battery, switch, whatever). Check what our 2 realms share in common. But I think there´s something "hindering" the save.
If this is not resolved by the end of April (it´s still not even assigned) I will have cancel our subscription and ask for a refund for the time I could not use the service. I´m sorry if it will come to that, but I don´t want to pay for a service I don´t get.

It's virtual servers. It probably doesn't have anything to do with the disks. But yes, something in our code is probably stopping the game from saving.

Look, the realm has only a few days remaining and our trial has been wasted. Would you PLEASE be able to give us our trial back as we did not get the full extent of our trial

Also, I do not mean to be rude, but if it's "probably" something in your code then could you please try and find the solution quickly as it's been over a week now since we've been able to play the realm properly.

This happened to me as well since the patch. It only used the backup (every 30 min). If I logout say minute 29, I lost all 29 minutes of progres.

I've been suffering this on my realm. Do a few hours work, save and quit and work is gone on reload.

Been using Windows 10, and Switch to access the realm and it's done this with both.

Data integrity on these worlds has to be paramount if you're not going to give us any way of backing our own data up (I know what you're going to say - the backups can be downloaded - they can - but they don't contain the updates either, so there's no point).

I play on the iOS version of Minecraft 1.13.0 and just last week I was playing on a public realms server and I was the last person to log off. When I next logged on in the morning, I had found out that I had lost all of the data from my last session (about 5 hours). This included all of the blocks that I had placed and the items that I gained. It was exactly how I had logged on in my previous session.

It would seem that this is not truly fixed, unless there is a different issue. I have now had multiple people give me multiple reports within the last couple of week that they would log in only to find that their progress and work had reverted. Not sure how to troubleshoot this one.

Ok, now I just experienced this for myself. I was exploring and had almost completely explored the border of a fully zoomed map two days ago. I just logged in today and the map was empty and I was back where I was days ago. This is not acceptable.
