As of last night, I started facing extreme lag in Realms. I checked my internet to make sure I had a stable connection, and my internet is working just fine. Currently, if I go to sleep in my bed, it takes 5 seconds for the character to actually start sleeping. When I place blocks, they place and the. 2 seconds later they disappear and the block is not placed back in my inventory, it just disappears. I put on a set of armor and it lagged all of my armor back into my inventory except it duplicated my chest piece. It seems to be getting worse the more that I play, or maybe that’s just because I was lagged off a cliff and fell to my death. All moving NPCs are also lagging, they will freeze somewhere and then 2-3 seconds later they will be somewhere else. This is particularly annoying when a Creeper is after you, they will be 14 blocks away and then all the sudden blowing up in your face.

this also happens when you download the world too. the buggy nature of breaking blocks and nohing happening carries over to the downloaded world from realms.
Having this issue on Xbox One. Gets a bit dangerous when you are in the nether and place a block then stand on it and the next thing you know it has disappeared causing you to fall.
If using a diamond pickaxe with efficiency then digging blocks in the nether is a pain as loads of blocks get broken then suddenly pop back on screen. Can happen in overworld too. Some times if you move from your starting position to where a block was destroyed and if it pops back you can take damage from being 'within' a block.
