My friends are invited. They have accepted the invite and have been playing without issues.
After a few days some of them message me that they suddenly aren't on the whitelist anymore. See Screenshot_2.png.
This happens even though they are still in the invited player list. See "screenshot 3.png" the players' names are censored for their privacy, but I marked all the affected players with an arrow to show that they are still invited, and therefore should be on the whitelist.
To temporarily fix this issue I have to remove them from the invited list and re-add them. Since I am not available 24/7 to do this, it has been causing my players to miss out on some game sessions. It would be great if they weren't kicked in the first place.

This is honestly horrible support. After half a year still nothing at all.
I thougth to get a realm for its ease of use. Even though I knew that it offers no functionality beyond an on/off button. It was a trade I was willing to make.
Now I know that I will never again get myself a realm. Any server host gives me complete access to every single files. Complete controll over all features. And it even allows me to mod the game without any issues... All for the same price or CHEAPER AND with GREAT support.
Shame on you mojang. Shame on you.
Mine too, actually! Both of them are Game Pass trialers actually (now they are not sure if they will get the game on their own or subscribe if it's this finicky)
Same issue, except I'm a player rather than the owner. And I'm in fact a game pass user (not trial).
As I cannot reproduce this, and it never happened to me after the fix for REALMS-11837, I am temporarily closing this issue as Awaiting Response.
If this is still an issue for anyone, please reply here. This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply. Please only reply here if the issue still exists.
I'm having the exact same issue, invited players who have previously played on the server are sometimes being told they are not whitelisted when attempting to join. A workaround I've found is closing and reopening the realm, but this is incredibly inconvenient as I have to be at my computer and it boots everyone off who is currently playing. Been experiencing this issue since 1.18 released.
