Some players unable to access Realm

I have been experiencing this issue for a while now and would like to add some information regarding my experience.

Context: all information provided here is regarding attempting to join the realm within the instance, not via the launcher

1. This issue seems to be intermittent, as I have been able to join the realm after repeatedly trying to join a varying number of times, or by trying again later.

2.  Rarely, instead of the normal "You are not white-listed on this server", what is printed on the screen is a long, thin text of what appears to be the syntax for a message. This text goes off the screen, and the cancel button is not visible. However, I am able to return to the realms screen by pressing escape. I have yet to encounter this more than once within the same instance of the game, and it is usually accompanied with a longer loading time, but I cannot verify this. I will add a screenshot the next time I see this text

I followed the recommended fix of removing and adding myself from the whitelist, and this worked... for about 12 hours.  Now I am in the same situation as before as well as several other members of my server.  

These issues frankly make the game unplayable.  Many users are experiencing these across multiple platforms, evidenced by the several threads on this topic.  Given that these appear across platforms, clients, and reinstalls, and the multiple instances of errors connecting to the realms servers, this seems like an issue with the Realms servers.   Is there any information that I can provide or anyone to escalate this to?  

I am having the same problem currently on the java realm I have. 
We have 14 total invited members, all except one are normal users. The other operator and I are on the same network (two pcs, some house). I am the realm owner. 

it seems to be happening to everyone except me, the owner, and other operator (who is on the same network as me).
I had a few users report it as a problem on June 4th, but I had another user report later that had experienced the problem since June 1st however a restart of the pc would fix the issue. To be clear, not just a restart of the game and launcher, but the pc itself.
On June 6, that user reported that he had the issue and tried to restart 3 or 4 times over an hour and it did NOT fix the problem. He stepped away from his computer for an hour to do something else and when he came back and tried again, it worked. 
Today, it has not worked. One one user besides myself and the other operator seem to be able to log in and play. 

If there is anything I can do to help solve this issue, I am all ears. I did not try to remove them from the player list and readd them, but I can try that to see if it fixes it. 

I am experiencing the same exact issue in the last couple of weeks.  Removing and adding the user back gets rid of the problem temporarily.  But it's such an annoying issue, especially when it's so random.

I've had my Minecraft Realms for many years now, but this is enough of a pain point that I've started looking into other hosting services.

I really hope this is a priority because I'm hosting a Realms server and am getting complaints every day.

I'm on the verge of cancelling my Realms subscription that I've had for years.

Multiple attempts failed.  Tried logout / login, restart pc and launcher but no success. Sometimes I even encounter "You are not white-listed on this server!"

I have now used the workaround 3 times in the past 2 days.  Each time, I am only able to access the realm issue-free for a few hours before I start to intermittently receive the error, which eventually becomes permanent until I am readded.  Several other users of my server are also experiencing the same issues.

Please do let me know if there's anything at all I can do to help resolve this issue - as is the realm is effectively unusable.  I see no reason to pay up for a realm vs a competitor if the basic technology doesn't function.  

Given that this issue has been unresolved for over 10 days now and with the multiplicity of threads on the topic, it seems that fixing this simply isn't a priority for Mojang or Microsoft.  At this point I can only recommend others to avoid realms for the foreseeable future - I am looking into cancelling my subscription and transitioning to an alternative provider.

It's a shame that the standard of coding and support in this game has fallen so far that such basic features are experiencing such extreme failures years after their release.

Bump, issue still occurring. Have you been able to reproduce yet?

I have been having the same issue for a month now and can now also confirm that this also happens on 1.21-pre4.
Very frustrating. please fix.

I've added a screenshot of when i was attempting to log into Realms and instead of getting the " You are not white-listed on this server!" message i got this instead

no button is available to exit from this screen, but clicking escape brings me back to realms selection menu

In case it's helpful I wanted to add an additional related bug.  Like others, I also receive the cycling intermittent error messages ("You are not white-listed on this server", "Realms request failed...").  Besides these I've also been getting stuck "connecting" to the realm within the client (not from the launcher).  This is despite my internet connection being fast from speed test and having no issues connecting to any of the other servers I have from my network.

The "connecting" message persists indefinitely and the only fix is to quit and relaunch.
