Every time I try to change my username for minecraft, Minecraft.net freezes and becomes unresponsive. I end up having to close the tab. I've tried both on my laptop and on my phone to no avail. I just want to change my username 😞

Err, apparently WEB-1318 exists. Attaching information to that report instead.
Try changing your name on https://account.mojang.com instead.
We have had a hard time replicating this problem.
We deployed an update yesterday that hopefully fixes this problem.
Can you please provide more technical details (browser, version, operating system)? A video of this happening would be good too but do blur your email adress and personal information or just make this report private to protect your personal data.
