[WEB-2099] Run out of Windows 10 gift codes

This issue has been fixed, please try claiming a Windows 10 gift code on your account page again:

We have fixed the Windows 10 code error. You can log in to our Mojang account and redeem your Windows 10 code if you purchased Java Edition BEFORE October 18, 2018.
If you're eligible, you have until midnight PST on Monday, April 20 to redeem your code.

Hello, this is not a bug so this report is invalid. Mojang has run out of Windows 10 codes but is aware of it and is working on getting more.

Please stop commenting here. Mojang is aware of this issue and we will let you know here on the report once it is fixed.
For every comment (and every edit of a comment), all watchers of this report are notified.

And do not attach screenshots showing your account page. The account page shows sensitive information, like your e-mail address, which makes it easy for malicious actors to take over your account. This report is public and attachments can be seen by everyone (even without account on this bug tracker).

December 2010 purchaser here, apparently some codes went live earlier and ran out immediately according to a discord mod.

We only have a few days left to redeem our free copy and all the information we have immediately tell us that the "Windows 10 code error" is "fixed"... We can't join discord to ask for specifics, twitter mentions are not reaching the support team (at least on my end) so we're getting a bit worried...

This is a bug tracker, and NOT a support forum.

Whenever you leave a comment, it will cause an email to be sent to > 40 people. We will remove any comments that are unrelated to the issue at hand.

Mojang is aware of the problem and working on restocking the codes. I understand that you're frustrated, but please don't leave a comment here if you don't have anything valuable to add to this ticket. It'll not cause the codes to be restocked sooner, quite the opposite actually.

And please, do NOT post your email or any other private information here (including screenshots of the Mojang account page). This is a public place that everyone can access, even people who might want to use your personal information against you.

Sorry for being not transparent enough. This here is only the bug tracker, none of the comments you write here will be directly notifying Mojang employees (we Moderators and Helpers are not Mojang employees), instead with every comment you write you notify all watchers which are currently more than 40 people!
We know that the statement published by Mojang is pretty unclear and we would love to provide you with more information, but sadly we don't have more information at the moment. We only have the same information you have. We have contacted the Mojang employees and are awaiting their response / clarification.

Therefore we cannot tell you at the moment:

Why they run out of gift codes (again)
When the issue will be resolved
If the deadline of April 20th affects only "claiming" the gift code, or also "redeeming" it with your Microsoft account
If you have to try to claim it again before April 20th if you have received the error described in this report
If the deadline will be extended past April 20th

However, we will update the report as soon as more information becomes available. Therefore please stop commenting. If you still feel that there is need for discussion, head over to the /r/Mojira subreddit.
