Hello Edwyn, please see this help article: Account Setup to Enable Join Multiplayer Games, Join Clubs and Access Realms. If you are still struggling after going through those steps, contact Customer Support and they will help you get sorted out!
i think you need to adjust yo xbox privacy setting to allow you to play multiplayer

And please use the right project. This is not a bug in the mojang web service, or rather it is not a bug!
