Notes:
Sampling+ license was retired in 2011, and Freesound users were asked to manually switch to Attribution/Attribution-NonCommercial license. Several uploaded sounds still have old licenses.
In similar way, many uploads got their CC BY-NC 4.0 license by switching from CC BY-NC 3.0 at some point. However, the Sound Attributions page still lists them with older licenses. It might be a case for another report.
"exp_obj_large03.wav" by ggctuk (Licensed under CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication) is now directing to the missing page due to the uploader’s account being deleted after the credit. An archived version still exists and may be used for it.
Can’t seem to find a way to edit this post. Old minecraft.net had a different credits page, which had all of the listed sounds being attributed. There also were a couple of now deleted sounds that weren’t credited too:
"household match.wav" by fonogeno (is not archived, but can be found at audiomicro.com as a paid product)
"impact_splash_water_01.wav" by m_O_m (archived, was licensed with Sampling Plus 1.0)
It's interesting to note that most of the missing credits I've noted relate to non-commercial use of these sounds, which is not the case with Minecraft as a paid product. Given the lack of the required credit, the terms of the license have not been met, so it's likely that all of these authors probably never received compulsory royalties too. I'm not a lawyer, just someone interested in the history of the game, so I can't say or demand anything on that.
