Unable to claim builder cape from the twitch inventory

After watching a Minecraft live stream from twitch and receiving a notification that I can claim it.

I am unable to claim it when I try to from the twitch inventory. It says: “Redemption code unavailable. Please try again later.”

I am not sure if I am the only one with this issue or if it is global.

If anyone knows what could be the problem, please let me know.

You should wait a little. Is this still a problem for you?

I have waited 24 hours and I am still getting the same error.

This is the 3rd time ive had this happen to me with these redeem capes… youd think after however many years they've been doing this they’d have it figured out by now

Such oversight from mojang and microsoft and twitch. cant handle a simple drop

I have it too and want my cape, i got the drop in twitch 5 min after the announce.

Guys, since the twitch was acting a bit buggy I used TikTok and it worked perfectly!

Update: Twitch has ran out of cape code so you can now only get it through TikTok unfortunately.
