I went to creative and built a 3 high wall connecting the buildings in a default desert village and torched the entire thing (golem inside the wall) and left a recorder on overnight. There were no illagers spawning inside the absolute bounds of the village. I think it would be useful if there was a way to see the bounds of the village so that you don't spend hours building a village up only to have the most deadly mob the village can face form inside while you are underground mining resources... Without that players are kind of bound to the type of thing I did which is linking the physical buildings together with ridiculous zig zagging walls.
@ @unknown Yes they do form INSIDE the village. They are on top of the buildings. I think there may be an issue with there being vertical height settings for villages so illagers can form vertically (y axis) outside of the village boundaries while still actually being INSIDE the village from an x and z perspective?
Yes all slabs are bottom half slabs. I had to add ugly fences across the top of all of the buildings...
Also not only do Illagers form on top of the buildings I have half slabbed but the new trader villager and his llamas do as well.
It happens to me but only if the bed is next to a wall. If you have at least 1 block around the bed on all sides you can wake up.
Still happening. if you can't reproduce it you aren't trying very hard. Spawn rates in the Nether in general are very very broken.
