This took me a bit to figure out. This was happening on my child's computer. Websites are resitrctions from a security perspective. Login was allow, but it would not present the web page for "allowing access". Thus would be blank or skip it entirely while trying to log into minecraft. Once I allowed all websites, xbox login worked, then re-locked it. But there was no way to get around this otherwise. This was after diagnosing by deleting the app altogether.
