This issue seems to be tied to the recipe book the more in-game recipes there are the worse the lag is… perhaps you could add a ‘remember recipe cache’ option in settings that simply indexes the recipes once upon joining a world instead of every singular time the inventory is opened it would certainly help players who want to play with more than 2 add-ons without lagging even on decent systems as well as help people on weaker systems like a switch be able to comfortably play the game
