Guess I'll just add my two cents worth

It works with redstone torches.

ok redstone wire works with blocks but still not around corners so it would take a lot of redstone wire going around corners, torches work on torches but repeaters and comparators are dead against blocks, comparators are not lighting up redstone wire

well i am working on 16w42a and it still does not work and it has messed up a lot of machines like simple mono stable circuits, t-flops, pulse extenders, and/or/nor gates pretty much any machine that required a left or right turn that can't (or shouldn't) have a direct redstone circuits (sorry the observer only goes straight like a T-Rex) it needs to be fixed or another way of making the corners work corectly needs to be given
