This issue was closed a couple of months back as a duplicate of another reported issue. The other issue is similar to this (agree), but the resolution for that other issue does not IMHO address the underlying problem. The driver for this issue is not a permission problem. The application attempts to start, and encounters an error. As a result of the error, the folder is deleted. When the folder is deleted, there is an issue accessing the folder (not because of permissions).
I am an authorized licensee of minecraft, having paid the dues for the license purchase. I hope it is reasonable to expect support on Windows 10.
