Good stuff Eucy. I still have the issue, but have narrowed it just the host that needs to be reset.
Turn your wifi modem/router on and off
I also got multiplayer working last night by exiting minecraft on both iPads, setting them on airplane mode for a few mins and rebooting the router.
By the morning though they wouldn't connect, until I had quit minecraft on both iPads.
Aleksandra from Mojang commented at the top of the page "This is a known issue and it is being looked into"
Hi Aleksandra - your approach is a little counter intuitive... all people need to know is that at some point the bug they perceive has been acknowledged as a 'bug'... your description at the top of the post "We are aware of this issue"... suddenly means I can tell my kids "they know about it, it will probably get fixed", until then people that are logging bugs for you don't know if it's a genuine issue of a peculiarity of their own set up/device. You don't have to tell us who it's assigned to, but at least consider providing some sort of update so it's not a totally one sided flow of information.
Happening on 8.4.1 iPad 3 and iPadAir (I did get it briefly working when I rebooted the router and then it stopped again - I haven't repeated that process yet to see if it is time based).
Yes. I'm experiencing the same problem. 2 iPads, iOS 8.4.1, no worlds appear on local server multiplayer (no issues before the update to 0.12.1)
Yes. Still happening. C'mon Mojang, enough of amateur hour. Fix your bugs!!
