I have the same problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T310) and I am stuck as Alex since the 0.16 update. It just crashes when I push the hanger button.

The same thing happens on my iPhone 4S and it crashes on startup. I do not have any resource packs or mods.
