Can confirm this issue on MC 1.16.5 on Debian GNU/Linux (amd64) using remmina RDP (client) and Windows 10 (server).
See this thread and my comment: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-169500?focusedCommentId=779710&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-779710
This worked for me and I was able to run the game (release 1.16.1) on "Linux kondenzator 5.3.0-59-generic #53~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 4 14:58:26 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux"
This issue is not resolved in version 1.16.1, but the comment from @ultraviolet helped me run the game.
The error message "GLFW error 65543: GLX: Failed to create context: GLXBadFBConfig." is shown on game launch and the game crashes immediatley.
For anyone else stumbling upon this issue that has Linux and old hardware, open terminal and use the command `env MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.5 minecraft-launcher` to run Minecraft Launcher. From then on the game should launch normaly from the launcher.
I tried Going to the page u suggested but nothing in there is helping, Havnt been able to play Minecraft for like 2 weeks. Looks like Ill Never be able to play it again.
What version hasn't been released that I marked and what version am I playing? I believe it is 1.14....
Thank you for your answer, @unknown!
I tried Hud Opacity in Settings (as well as all other options there), but it didn't help.
I have the same problem with Russian language. I think it's a bug and it should be fixed (because using English interface when Minecraft has a translation for your language is strange).
There's a similar bug when GUI scale set to small (and Russian language is selected). All text on buttons in GUI and text in chat becomes unreadable (same as on debug profiler). I'm not sure if I should open a new issue for this bug.
Can confirm on 1.21.5 using @COMETC2021A1's method.
