I'm not a coder, but I agree with you. Not to mention the top pinned message, saying that Mojang are "working hard on fixing this issue". What's the point of knowing that Mojang is working hard to deal with this obvious controller bug if they just leave this issue to gather dust?
I've always wanted to play MCPE/Bedrock on a controller ever since I tried playing on Java with mods installed. If Mojang do care for the players who play on a controller, then they should've get this issue resolved the moment that @Richard E Collard created this issue.
