This has happened in my world too. it only happens when i try to enter an area that has a lot of chests. for example if i log off near a bunch of chests and rejoin the world the loading screen gets stuck on "generating terrain".
Also happens if i enter any area having a lot of chests using a portal, the portal screen gets stuck on "generating terrain".
