I'm having the same problem since updating to v1.13 - iPad 3 ios 9.3.5. I just get the Mojang Title screen then a white screen then it crasis out to the desktop. Minecraft is still active in the background but switching to it just repeats the problem. I have tried to uninstall and re-install Mincraft with no effect.
