MC-60989 Used to play Minecraft about 2 years ago, I tried to re-install it today and play it, and the new "launcher" goes through when I pressed play but It doesn't do anything it just closes the launcher and re-opens it. Duplicate

Why is the game all of a sudden not supporting my PC's hardware? I've seen much older computers player minecraft....
