@Ezekiel: The "Resolution" section says "Invalid", but yet everyone I know who had that problem are no longer having it anymore. The problem was linked to the launcher version 1.1.1, if I remember correctly. The version after that (whichever it was) seemed to have fixed it. Yet, on this issue, it is still marked as "Invalid". All the mods here do not have that problem, so they don't seem to believe in it. So therefore, it is fixed in the game, but claimed by @GrygrFlzr as, "not Fixed." (in other words; Invalid) because mods simply cannot recreate the FPS drops in this issue. But anyways, this issue is no longer occurring for those whom had it before.
@GrygrFlzr: The term is generally called "Superflat", as it says on the game as an option for generating a world... I figured he was talking about a mod or some other add-on to the game. Also, the problem was fixed, but not "Fixed". I didn't have to change any settings to fix anything, I guess something in one of the launcher updates improved the FPS problem. 😉
Well "Flatlands" is a mod... if I just researched correctly... and you can never know with mods. Mods aren't Mojang's problem. But with vanilla... I don't know why it would lag for you. This bug involved certain Windows users to have FPS decreases of down to 70% AFTER being logged on for 40-60 seconds. I think you might be on the wrong page. If this isn't your bug, good luck searching.

@Jed Harvey I one-hundred percent agree with you! I have the same exact graphics card and it was fine before... something must have changed as a result of the new launcher. Its definitely causing FPS problems for people with Intel(R) HD 4000 graphics cards. But I even watched a video by Xisuma and Keralis (YouTubers) and they said they both have had random FPS drops. They don't have it as bad as us, but I'm positive they don't use the Intel(R) HD 4000 graphics card.
